Lisa McIntosh, MD
As an expert board-certified OB/GYN with over 30 years in practice, Lisa McIntosh, MD, is a go-to practitioner for women throughout Clarksville, Tennessee. She provides personalized gynecology services at Women’s Health Center of Clarksville.
Dr. McIntosh earned her Doctor of Medicine at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in Lansing. She went on to complete an internship and extensive obstetrics and gynecology residency training before earning board certification from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
With her expertise in all aspects of women’s health, Dr. McIntosh focuses on preventive care and wellness. Dr. McIntosh provides family planning services, well-woman exams and Pap smears and comprehensive care for pelvic pain and abnormal periods, to name a few. She also specializes in menopause management and customized hormone replacement therapy plans.
Patients of Dr. McIntosh appreciate her warmth and caring bedside manner. Dr. McIntosh enjoys engaging with her patients and educating them about their health and well-being.
Sabyl Farmer, MSN, APRN, CNM
Sabyl Farmer was born in Lafayette, LA and moved to Hopkinsville, KY in 2006. Sabyl graduated from Madisonville Community College with an Associates Degree in Nursing. She spent the next 10 years caring for patients in a variety of settings including labor and delivery at Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville. She completed her midwifery training from Frontier Nursing University with a Master of Science in Nursing and is a board-certified Nurse Midwife. Sabyl partners with her patients empowering them to be an active participant in their healthcare. She cares for women of all ages. Away from the office she enjoys spending time with her family. Sabyl is excited about bringing the option of midwifery care to Clarksville, TN.

Amber Wood is a Nashville native and moved to the Clarksville area in 2005 after her husband was stationed at Fort Campbell. Amber graduated from Austin Peay State University with her BSN and spent the majority of her nursing career in several different areas of Women’s Health. After 8 years working as a RN she decided to pursue her APRN degree and specialized in Women’s Health at the University of South Alabama. Amber is passionate about all aspects of Women’s Health and enjoys working with her patient population to help them to make informed decisions with their healthcare. During her downtime Amber enjoy’s spending time with her family. Amber feels blessed to be part of the WHC team and is happy to serve the Clarksville community.
